Why I created this deck
I’ve always taken my worries for a walk.
Whenever life feels tangled, work stuff, personal stuff, the general “what on earth am I going to do now” moments, I head outside. A bit of forest bathing, some fresh air, and space to let my thoughts wander. More often than not, the answers arrive when I’m not forcing them. They slip in while I’m watching an insect get on with its tiny, important business, or standing by a river as it keeps flowing endlessly past me and my drama.
These cards grew from those moments.
Each one holds an insight gifted by the natural world. Things I’ve learnt simply by paying attention. I gathered them together so they wouldn’t just live in my notebooks anymore. My hope is they’ll offer the same gentle guidance to others who might need a pause or a fresh perspective.

How the deck is structured
The deck contains 52 cards, loosely following the wheel of the year. It moves from the bright light of early spring through to the deep, quiet cold of winter.
Some cards make you think.
Some invite reflection.
All are rooted in nature.
Each card has one side with original watercolour illustrations, and on the reverse, you’ll find a short explanation, key takeaways, and a suggested action to help you apply the message to your own life.
You can pull a card daily, use them for journalling, or turn to them when you feel stuck and need a different lens.
What do I hope the deck will do for you?
My wish is simple.
That these cards encourage you to notice the free lessons all around us.
Humans have always looked to nature for guidance. Our ancestors read the stars to find their way. Modern engineers study dragonfly wings to design better drones. Every leaf, river, bird and beetle has something to teach, if we slow down long enough to notice.
This deck is a set of prompts to help you do just that. To pause, observe, and to remember that wisdom is all around us, often just waiting in the hedgerows and roadside verges.
